A belt for holding individual rounds of ammunition or other objects, usually worn like a sash over the shoulder or chest. Typically, each round is held in its own loop along the length of the belt. They are often seen on gunslingers in old western-themed settings and characters, though modern bandoliers exist and may be used to hold shotgun shells, grenades, or other armaments. Not to be confused with an ammunition belt, a device that holds ammunition together to be used on belt-fed machine guns.
