The Confederate States of America (CSA) was a secessionist state that existed from 1861 to 1865, it was formed when a number of states from the United States of America decided to secede from the union in the name of State's rights to slavery. Ultimately, a total of 11 states join the Confederacy. Not recognized by any major country during its brief existence. Use this tag when the post directly refer to the CSA, such as its military during the American Civil War. Do not apply this tag if the post simply featuring the Confederate flag as a motif.
