A variety of tea made from matcha (food) powder. It is sometimes depicted in a yunomi, which is a Japanese teacup without handles. For the powder used to make green tea, see matcha_(food). Green tea doesn't pass a fermentation/oxidation stage after drying. The color of its leaves are dark green, and will result in a very lightly-coloured brew when steeped.
