The Kliment Voroshilov Model Two (KV-2) tank was an early World War II Soviet heavy tank that shared the same chassis with the earlier KV-1 with the exception of a large turret housing the very powerful M10 howitzer. It saw limited action in the early stages of the war, one notable event being a lone KV-2 that pinned the lead elements of the German advance for a day. This heavy tank was feared among the Germans for its very powerful armament combined with a very thick and resistant armor.
