If the laser beam projected by it or dot on the target is visible, use the tag laser pointer projection as well. Not to be confused with a laser pointer, a small cylindrical tool used to direct attention to one spot during meetings and lectures. Not to be confused with eye beam, where lasers may emanate from the eyes. Not to be confused with a red dot or reflex sight, where the illuminated dot is only visible on the eyepiece lens.
