An atypical semi-automatic revolver developed and produced in 1997 by Italian manufacturer Mateba; notable for being low-barreled, as most revolvers are aligned to the top cylinder. Not to be confused with the Chiappa Rhino (which has a similar silhouette, is also semi-automatic, and has a low-barrel as well, due to being designed by the same person, Emilio Ghisoni) or the Mateba 2006m (which is not semi-automatic, and has an enclosed housing at the top, in contrast to the Unica's open topped housing).
