Style parody of the artist Shibafu (glock23), known as Shibafu-mura (Shibafu Village) in JP. He is infamous among Kantai Collection fans for using a very similar face for all of the shipgirls drawn by him, such as Akagi, Kasuga Maru, Ooi, and Fubuki. This style involves a squarish face with round cheeks, tareme eyes (typically; Kaga (kancolle) is a notable exception), and a small nose and mouth. For extra effect, the same shading techniques used by Shibafu can be used. The shape of the faces is often compared to a potato, hence the EN nicknames of "Potato Faces" or "Potato Curse".
